The Oyster Box Beach House is our flagship luxury holiday villa in the seaside village of Kenton-on-Sea. Located on Elliot Road, the villa boasts uninterrupted views of the Bushman’s River Mouth, upriver, the Indian Ocean, and the coastline down to Kwaaihoek, combining for one of the most spectacular coastal views. Set on two levels of expansive living, entertaining, and reclining spaces, The Oyster Box holds a space of calm and tranquillity — luring you in and whisking you away with staggering ever-changing seaside views. With four gorgeous bedrooms, a fabulous kitchen and lounge, and a tiered outdoor deck — the Oyster Box is the epitome of a perfect beach holiday home that generously welcomes a party of 8 of your favourite people.

The two beautiful ensuite bedrooms — with their luxury linens, generous bedding, and sumptuous bathrooms – open onto the outdoor area, allowing those incredible views and the lulling nature sounds to drift through the room. Luxury Suite One is the main bedroom, set exclusively on the top floor, with a private lounge area, desk, and TV. Here you can truly cocoon in a vast room with a view. Every morning starts with a full-frame sunrise over the ocean from a king-sized bed. The en suite bathroom has a spacious walk-in shower and bath, with thick fluffy towels and bathrobes for extra comfort.

The second Luxury Suite is downstairs and leads onto the deck offering immediate access to the swimming pool to soak up the sun. It also has sweeping views of the river mouth and coastline. The room has a king-sized bed with a private lounge and a TV to kick back and take advantage of the comfort of holiday living. The large en suite bathroom has a bath and a spacious shower and bath to enjoy after a day at the beach.

In addition to the Upstairs and Downstairs Luxury Suites, there are two more rooms. The Queen and Twin rooms share a bathroom, and have the same luxurious linens and high-quality furnishings as the luxury suites.

This contemporary beach house has recently been renovated and re-decorated to maximise its incredible views and almost immediate access to the lagoon, the ocean, the dunes, and the long stretches of golden sand that go on for miles. The holiday home stands bold and edgy, with wood cladding and charcoal tones on the sea-facing exterior. The interior has been designed with a South African eclectic flair, exuding style and comfort in every inch. The open-plan kitchen, dining, and snug lounge area on the ground floor lead out to the outdoor deck, which has dining facilities and a boma area overlooking the river mouth, plenty of sun loungers, and a lovely heated plunge pool. There is a braai and outdoor shower in the back courtyard, perfect for rinsing off the beach sand from your sun-kissed skin. Renting the whole villa lets you enjoy the privacy and exclusivity of the beach house to yourself.
